On October 20, 2016, the Estate Planning & Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association participated in a joint event with the Atlanta Bar’s Elder Law Section and the Financial Planning Association of Georgia. The event, a panel discussion involving a panel of attorneys, a judge, and a financial planner, aimed to create a dialogue around the many difficult issues involved in aiding a client with financial and estate planning during the last few months of their life.
