A Partner in The Saylor Law Firm LLP for ten years, Linda manages the Firm’s Saint Simons Island office as well as maintaining her office in Atlanta. She practices Business & Estate Planning Law and represents clients regarding their estate and business succession planning and general corporate matters. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Muir developed her practice in business and corporate law and telecommunications for over 25 years both in private practice and with major telecommunications corporations.

After graduating from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, she began practice with King & Spalding. She next went to become Corporate Counsel with Contel Corporation, General Counsel with the wireless subsidiary of GTE Corporation (now Verizon), and later served as Director of Legislative & Regulatory Matters and then Executive Director of Corporate Outreach with BellSouth Corporation (now AT&T). Her practice during that phase of her career covered contracts, mergers, acquisitions & divestitures, procurement, employee benefits, management of outside counsel, representation before the Federal Communications Commission, and development and implementation of corporate telecommunications positions and policies. After taking early retirement from BellSouth, she continued her Business Law practice in her own firm, The Muir Law Firm LLC, before joining The Saylor Law Firm. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Muir was a systems and applications programmer with IBM Corporation in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Boca Raton, Florida.
